Associate Specialist in Emergency Medicine

About the Role:

  • Experience in critical care medicine, acute medicine, pre-hospital emergency medicine and / or paediatrics.
  • Expected to deliver appropriate care within the Urgent and Emergency Care department
  • Job Plan consists of 10 programmed activities (PAs) per week
  • Pay progression will be on the anniversary of appointment

Criteria:

  • Full Registration with the GMC and a Licence to Practise Medicine.
  • Primary Medical Degree
  • Completion of Foundation Year 1 & 2 with appropriate experience.
  • Current ALS, ATLS and/or ETC & APLS and/or EPLS provider certificates
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for the management of emergency care patients
  • Ability to work autonomously within practice
    framework

Consultant in Gastroenterology

About the Role:

  • Ability to offer expert opinion & take full & independent responsibility for clinical care of patients across the wide spectrum of Gastroenterological disorders
  • Experience of General Medicine
  • Experience of & commitment to teaching undergraduates & postgraduates
  • Experience of supervising F1, F2, ST trainees.
  • Ability to & experience of teaching clinical skills
Essential criteria
  • Full GMC Registration with License to Practice
  • MRCP/MBBS or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Evidence of entry on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of attaining CCT at the time of the interview.
