Acute Medicine Consultant

  • £93,666 to £126,281 Per Annum

We are looking for an Acute Medicine Consultant with experience to join a large department in a trust in the North West.

  • Extensive experience in Acute / General Internal Medicine
  • Especially desirable would be Respiratory Medicine, Care of the Elderly/Frailty, Diabetes or Rheumatology
  • Relocation assistance available
Essential qualifications:
  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Passed IELTS/OET with required score
  • GMC registration
  • UK experience desired
Desirable experience:
  • GMC Specialist Register via: CCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview) CESR or European Community Rights

Main Duties of the job

This role comes with the opportunity for the successful applicants (should they wish) to spend two sessions to further develop interests in other areas which may include another specialty service or alternatively medical education, clinical governance and quality improvement, clinical leadership or research. The specialty services available include Critical Care, Respiratory Medicine, Rheumatology, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Frailty, Palliative Care, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Care of the Elderly and Emergency Medicine.
