ICU Consultant

  • £105,504–£139,882 Per Annum

We are looking for an Intensive Care Consultant to join a large department in a trust in the North West.

  • Extended complementary skills (e.g. Echo, USS accreditation)
  • Experience of general critical care case mix
  • Experience of tertiary management of complex critical care patients.
  • Fellowship or membership of the Royal College of Anaesthetists/ Physicians/Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
Essential qualifications:
  • MRCP/FRCEM/EDIC
  • Fully registered medical practitioner with licence to practice on the GMC Specialist Register
  • Passed IELTS/OET with required score
  • GMC registration

Main Duties of the job

We are looking for an ICU Consultant to explore an opportunity to join a bright and dynamic Critical Care department where you will be mentored and supported to flourish in your career where many opportunities are available across a major tertiary working in one of the largest Trusts in England.

A consultant in Intensive Care Medicine will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic department that leads in quality clinical care. Candidates with complementary specialty training will have the opportunity to accommodate a complementary specialty in job plan.

Desirable experiences would include experience in different hospitals / departments where opportunities to develop leadership and management experience have been fully utilised. Evidence of team working is essential.
